      Project Engineer Show Info


Job Costing/Estimating:
Build a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel to reflect the cost of a project with both labor and material needed for the projects successful completion.

Design/Engineering:
Work with the customer to design a solution that fits there needs for any given project they have in mind. This may include any or all of the following systems; low-voltage cabling for voice & data network, backbone cabling both fiber and copper, surveillance system cabling (i.e. Cameras & Video Monitors), Point of Sales (POS) cabling, Building access cabling (i.e. Card Readers), Building Automation cabling (i.e. lighting, heating/AC and other utilities cabling), network electronics and limited electrical wiring.

Presales Engineering Support:
Accompany the Sales Account Rep. at meeting with customers to provide technical support and project engineering advice.

Create a Project Manual:
Create a project specific installation manual. The manual should be a clear and concise guide of the installation project complete with a step by step description of work required, bill of material (BOM), special tooling required, photos, prints, and diagrams.

Project Technical Training:
Train the installation crews, walking them through the first site of the project from start to finish so that they have a good understanding of the project and can then continue with the rest of the rollout on the project with minimal problems.

Visio/CAD Drawing:
Create Visio/CAD drawing as needed to support the project installation and the installation crews.

Engineering Support:
Provide project specific engineering support to both, our own installation crews as well as our Delivery Partners (DP’s) and customers.

Documentation Deliverables:
Provide assistance to the Project Manager (PM) as needed to prepare project deliverables. (i.e. test results and drawings)


      Material Coordinator Show Info


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Review material allocations requirements and bill of materials. Plan purchase requirements of material and test equipment.
  • Request quotations, negotiate prices, delivery options, and review specifications.
  • Place orders, follow up, tracking, and confirmation of deliveries.
  • Evaluate supplier performance (delivery, price, QA status, etc.).
  • Communicate with Project Managers regarding their projected project requirements.
  • Inventory organization/design.
  • Month end inventory status reports.
Job Qualifications:
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • 2 years experience in electric components/materials.
  • Must be positive, proactive, assertive, self driven and extremely detail oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize with little direction.
  • Strong administrative background and working.
  • Knowledge of MS Office software.
  • Flexibility and creativity to improve and create new procedures.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Great follow up skills.

      Purchaser/Buyer Show Info


Primary Responsibilities:

Job Qualifications:

  • Strong administrative background and working knowledge of MS Office software.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills.
  • Flexibility and creativity to improve and create new procedures.
  • Excellent communication and people skills (verbal and written).
  • Great follow-up skills.

      Project Manager Show Info


Applicant must be driven, have a high energy level and sense of urgency, have a positive attitude with the ability to multi-task on a variety of projects and work well with others. Applicant should have experience in structured cabling (TIA/EIA standards, Fiber, Cat 5, 5e, & 6), Team Lead and/or Project Management. Job Qualifications:
  • Experience in structured cabling (TIA/EIA standards, Fiber, Cat 5, 5e, & 6)
  • Team Lead and/or Project Management preferred

      Data Communications Technicians, Leads and Installers Show Info


Primary responsibilities include:
Identify and prepare pathways and supports for new cabling system installations; pull copper, coaxial and fiber optic cable in backbone, horizontal and riser environments; terminate voice and data jacks; terminate data cables on patch panels; punch down or cross-connect voice cable on 66 or 110 blocks; build racks and mount rack equipment; read blueprints and identify cabling pathways; abide by building code standards and safety standards; test copper cable installations; communicate with Technicians, Project Managers, Field Managers and other coworkers about project status; communicate with customers about project progress.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
Three to four years of experience in the voice/data industry. Knowledge of and experience with reading blueprints. Must be able to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively, work under pressure and time deadlines; analyze problems, propose reasonable solutions, make logical decisions, carry out decisions made; communicate effectively, both written and orally.

Also needed is a working knowledge of hand tools, various power tools and test equipment. PC skills also required. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable. Frequent overnight and extended travel.
